Acrylic Painting - MON 3:20PM

Open studio class - join other artists in creating art in a fun and inclusive community space. Your instructor is an experienced artist who is on hand to answer your questions as needed.

If desired, the instructor
will give the class short painting prompts and 15 minute painting technique demos during open studio class time. Students can choose to work
on their individual project with instructor assistance, or they can take a demonstrated technique to the next level and continue it for a complete artwork.

Be creative, enjoy painting, and make sure to ask for assistance any time you need help in this independent studio class.

Your class fee covers use of brushes, choice of
paints, and a 11x14 or 16x20 canvas. Additional and larger canvases available for
additional fee (or bring your own).

Please note: If a more step-by-step class is desired, with direct instruction to create a specific painting, we encourage you to check out our Painting Workshop offerings. Painting Workshops meet for 2 hours each session over 1-2 days, and students follow along with instructor step-by-step demonstrations to create a specific painting, such as butterflies, birds, flowers, sunsets, and more.
